New Delhi: England won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the ICC Women’s World Cup final at Lord’s.

Both teams have decided to stick to their winning combinations. There were questions marks over India’s semi-final heroine Harmanpreet Kaur’s availability, but much to the relief of the Indian camp, she is fit and ready to go.

Indian captain Mithali Raj said India would have also liked to bat first "We would've batted first as well, but our seamers are back in form, they'll relish bowling upfront."

Indian eves will look to make history by beating the formidable hosts and win their maiden World Cup title. They had got the better of them in the group stages.
