The WTC Final 2023 between India and Australia reached its final leg where India required 280 more runs to beat Australia on the 5th day. The former India skipper Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane are there on the crease and the duo have won many games for India while batting together. Now since the match has entered its final day, India's run machine Virat Kohli posted a cryptic story on Instagram.
India’s batting pillar wrote, "If we have too many worries, fears, and doubts, we have no room for living and loving. We need to practice letting go."
Kohli also made it to an elite list and became the fifth Indian to make more than 2000 runs against Australia. Sachin Tendulkar holds the first position in the list of batters who made the most number of runs against Australia (3,630). Former India player VVS Laxman is at the second spot by making 2,434 runs while Rahul Dravid scored 2,143 runs against the Australian team and is at the third spot.
Talking about the ongoing WTC Final 2023, Virat is currently batting on 44 in just 60 balls in the World Test Championship against Australia. Virat with Rahane have put on an unbeaten 71-run partnership and ended day 4 on 164/3 in reply to Australia’s huge total of 444 runs. Rahane especially is the star with the bat for India as he scored crucial 89 runs in the first innings and in the second innings also he is batting 20 runs despite suffering a finger injury.
Rahane's wife lauded him and came up with a post on her Instagram handle where she wrote, "Despite your swollen finger, you refused a scan to protect your mindset and focused on batting, displaying incredible selflessness and determination. With unwavering resilience and commitment, you took your place at the crease, inspiring us all. I’m forever proud of your unwavering team spirit, my resilient partner. Love you endlessly!"
