New Zealand Vs South Africa 2nd Test: New Zealand completed a memorbale whitewash of South Africa in the two-match Test series at home, as a ridiculously consistent Kane Williamson scored three centuries in four innings to cement his legacy as one of the greatest ever to step foot on the 22 yards. After handing the Proteas an agonising defeat of 281 runs in the first Test match, the Kiwis had a clear calculation that a win will take them to the top of World Test Championship (WTC) standings.

It wasn't just a matter of WTC for the Black Caps, but also a chance of writing off one of the worst stats in their entire cricketing history, which was that New Zealand had never defeated South Africa to win a Test series. The Tim Southee-led side didn't give South Africa even a glimpse at victory as their all-round effort and seamless chase of the target sawe them register a 2-0 series victory and end their 92-year wait for a series victory over Proteas, which includes 18 attempts.
