Mehidy Hasan was extremely delighted with his side's win, as he hailed the historic win over West Indies as 'great', and further went on to credit his bowling attack during the post-match presentation ceremony.
"It is a great feeling. We have played so many years of Test cricket, almost 25 years, so this was enjoyable. We are proud of that moment. We played well. We need to improve day by day. We need to keep improving in certain areas. We always talked about our boys and how we have to win this game. We are feeling good at this moment. We were not thinking negatively despite being 164 all out," said Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Bangladesh Captain.
"The boys bowled really well. Especially, Nahid Rana in the first innings, Taskin, and Hasan Mahmud. Second-innings specialist Taijul got five wickets. He was excellent. He has been very good for the last ten years, more than 200 wickets for us. He has been a great asset for us," said the veteran all-rounder.
"Fast bowling has been all about the process. At this moment, Bangladesh has so many fast bowlers. Nahid Rana is coming, Taskin is there, and Hasan Mahmud and Tanzim Sakib are also there. We have good fast bowlers at the moment. We think about how to improve in international cricket. Sometimes, we'll make mistakes, but we'll learn from them," he added.
