Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Australia Women have earned the bragging rights in the trans-tasman rivalry on Tuesday, as they have inflicted a humiliating defeat of 60 runs on New Zealand Women in Sharjah. The win now marks their 13th consecutive victory in the Women's T20 World Cups, as they eye a fourth consecutive title.

The six-time champions have only managed to not win the title on two occasions (2009 and 2016) when England and West Indies came up triumphant, and by the looks of their dominance in the tournament so far, a 7th title seems to be all but destined at this year's edition.

Excellent bowling performances from Megan Schutt, Rosemary Mair, and Amelia Kerr have sent the trio on top of the wicket-takers chart, as they occupy the first, second, and third-place repectively.
In the batting department, Laura Woolvardt continues her dominance up top, as she is 17 runs ahead of the second-placed Danielle Wyatt of England Women.
Sadly, no Indian features in the Top 5 of both categories for now, as the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side are not enduring a memorable tournament so far.
