UAE Women were nowhere close to the class of India Women right from the word go, as their decision to bowl first backfired heavily. Smriti Mandhana's unlucky early dismissal did not stop India Women's juggernaut, as the side managed to score their highest individual total in T20I's by managing 201/5 in their 20 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Richa Ghosh and Harmapreet Kaur.

UAE Women faltered in front of the potent bowling attack of India Women, as all the five bowlers used managed to pick up a wicket, and that includes debutant Tanuja Kanwar, who registered the figures of 1/14 in 4 overs. Overall, it was a memorable day for India Women, as their record-breaking run with the bat in the first innings was comprehensively complemented by the bowlers, as UAE Women managed merely 123/7 in their 20 overs.

Here's What The Two Captains Said In The Post Match Presentation Ceremony

Esha Oza (UAE Women Captain):

"Well they were a really experienced side and it was really hard to build an Innings for us. We saw how they played the entire game and we need to learn a lot from them. We bowled really well in the first half of the Innings with the ball but after picking up 3 wickets, we couldn't keep the pressure on them as the took the game away from us and finished off really well. We have a game in our hands versus Pakistan Women and we will look to score more with the bat."

Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain):

"Yeah I am absolutely alright. It was a great feeling especially the way we batted. We wanted to stay at the wicket and I told Richa to back herself and I think she batted really well. My role was to stay at the wicket and capitalize on the loose balls. The way Richa Ghosh batted I feel she took the pressure off me and I am really happy with the way we played in this game. Yeah definitely, today also despite losing 3 quick wickets, everyone played according to the situation and really pleased with the performance tonight."
