Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah declared on Thursday that his government is resolute in showcasing the finest quality milk products from the state to the world following the announcement of the Scotland cricket team naming the Karnataka-based Nandini dairy brand as their official sponsor for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the US.







 


Taking to 'X', Siddaramaiah termed it as a 'significant step' in making Nandini a global brand.


The CM said: "Karnataka's proud Nandini company, known in countries like Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, USA, Dubai, UAE, is now sponsoring Scotland and Ireland in the T20 World Cup. We are determined to introduce to the world both the best quality milk products of the state and the hard work of the state's farmers. This will be a significant step in making Nandini a global brand." 






This time, he said that Nandini will shine on the World Cup and so will Kannada.

Siddaramaiah also shared a photograph featuring Scotland men's team captain Richie Berrington donning a jersey t-shirt adorned with the 'Nandini' brand logo on the sleeve.

Notably, KMF ranks as the second largest dairy cooperative in the country, and in South India, it holds the top position in both procurement and sales, as per information provided by KMF.






KMF comprises 16 Milk Unions, each covering all the districts of the State. These Unions procure milk from Primary Dairy Cooperative Societies (DCS) and distribute it to consumers across various towns, cities, and rural markets in Karnataka.
