New Delhi: His never say die attitude and ability to bounce back against all odds has kept him going. Now, when he is again going through one of the toughest phases of his life, Gautam Gambhir vouches to come back strong and come back as a leader.

The discarded India opener posted a video on twitter stating, “Throw me to the wolves and I will return as the leader of the pack.”

It was not clear, whether Gambhir was hinting a comeback in the Indian side as captain but it did reflect the left-handers positivity.

Gambhir went on to add further by tweeting another video which ponders about his misfortune, possibly pointing towards his uncalled for axing.

Gambhir, who made a comeback in to the Indian side after two years, was dropped from the after just two matches. Gambhir, who had a fairly good outing in his comeback match against New Zealand, scoring a quickfire half century in the second innings lost his place to the fit-again K L Rahul.  However, that has not stopped the southpaw from believing.

Ironically, Rahul’s scores in both innings of the Vizag Test were 0 and 10.

Gambhir is back to doing the hard rounds and start from the scratch again. The veteran of 58 Test matches brought Delhi to winning ways when he led his side to a narrow 2 wicket win against Rajasthan in the seventh round encounter of the ongoing Ranji Trophy.
