Former Indian batting great Yuvraj Singh who turned 38 on Thursday celebrated his birthday in his trademark pomp and showy style, going off for a vacation with his former Indian team mates at an undisclosed location.

'Yuvi' shared some pics on his social media account, showing him chilling out and relaxing with his former teammates - Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Ajit Agarkar and childhood buddy Gaurav Kapur in an undisclosed foreign location.

"Special day with special friends ! A day to remember thank you all for your love and wishes," Yuvraj wrote.


Wishes poured in for India's 2007 World T20 star and 2011 World-Cup hero on Thursday on social media with the ICC, BCCI, captain Virat Kohli and other eminent cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan leading the way.


Yuvi bid adieu from international cricket this year after a career which spanned nearly two decades. The celebrated cricketer has over 10,000 international runs in over 400 appearances and has been India's go-to player on numerous occasions.
