To prove this statement, one of the old videos of the match between Pakistan and the West Indies has gone viral and buzzing the internet. Talking about the video, legendary West Indies batter Sir Viv Richards was spotted giving a perfect example of sportsmanship by giving away the opportunity to run out a Pakistani batter at the non-striker's end.
In the video, the great cricketer was seen bowling to a Pakistani batter who wanted to drive the ball but then it ended up hitting the player at the non-striker's end and went straight back to Viv. By then, the runner already crossed more than the half part and was evidently short of his crease, and then came Richards who gave a perfect example by choosing not to run out the batter.
Viv surprised everyone by not throwing the ball as he signaled the batter to get back to his crease and his heartwarming gesture grabbed everyone’s attention.

Sir Viv Richards is considered one of the greatest batters of all time and was a useful bowler also and has won many matches for his team with his bowling as well.
