New Delhi: Since the turn of the year,Virat Kohli has displayed an awe-inspiring form on the field, emerging as the top-scorer in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League (IPL).
The 27-year-old batsman from Delhi has got some well-deserved rest before heading to the Carribean for a four-match Test series against West Indies. But Kohli is not sitting idle. He is using this time to do some charity.
In a similar attempt, Kohli held a grand charity gala dinner in association with Smile Foundation in Mumbai on Friday. On Saturday, he led a team of Indian cricketers against Bollywood celebrities to play a charity football match against Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Playing for Humanity’ that collaborated with the Virat Kohli foundation.
The charity dinner had a few great moments, with Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and Hardik Pandya dancing to the hit Bollywood song ‘Tukur Tukur’ from the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Dilwale’ along with the kids of the Smile Foundation.
Kohli was at his flamboyant best, outshining his teammates with some groovy steps.
