Indian Men's cricket team suffered an unforgettable and a heart-breaking defeat at the hands of Australia in the ODI World Cup Final on November 19, 2023. The defeat caused a high magnitude of sorrowness and agony across the nation as the Indian Cricket Team (ICT) fans couldn't digest or believe what unfolded before their eyes on that day. Several players were seen in tears after the defeat as a perfect-going team India couldn't finish the job against the mighty Australia as the Aussies showed immense character and outclassed India in every department to lift their sixth ODI World Cup.
Many images and videos went viral of both the sides as one was cherishing yet another international trophy, while the other was still lingering on the fact of adding another International Cricket Council (ICC) event where they fell short in the knockout stages as team India's wait for an intercontinental trophy crosses 10 years.
One such video has recently gone viral and it is of the iconic Indian batsman, Virat Kohli. The legendary number 18 was the Man of the Tournament in the ODI World Cup 2023 as he was the highest run-getter in the tournament. Virat has previously won the ODI World Cup, under the captaincy of former Indian international Mahendra Singh Dhoni, when the legendary captain led India to the glory in 2011, at home.

The loss at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, left many fans even questioning the nature of the pitch being used in the Final, but it is in the past now as the Rohit Sharma-led side will start their conquest for the T20I World Cup 2024 in June, to be held in West Indies and USA. India last won the T20I World Cup in 2007, which was its first edition, on September 24, against Pakistan in South Africa.
