Virat Kohli & Co. finished their only practice match in a draw against the Essex County Cricket Club on Friday. The team had a decent outing in Chelmsford, however, there’s a lot to ponder about the forthcoming Test series against England.
Meanwhile, the two Punjabi’s in the team – skipper Virat Kohli and opener Shikhar Dhawan – showcased some of their Bhangra moves before taking the field on the final day. The Essex CCC management had arranged some Dhol playing artists who played a few beats to welcome the Indian cricketers on the field.

Team India’s stint in Chelmsford turned out to be an amazing one. As learned from media reports, the Indian cricketers were appreciative of the efforts put in by the Essex staff. At the same time, a number of younger players could spend times with the likes of Kohli and grabbed some tips for their cricketing future.
After 4 years, the Indian cricket team will play a Test series against England in their backyard. The five-match Test series against England starts on August 1 in Edgbaston.
