Catches win matches and Usman Khawaja follows the same theory.

The beginning of the 1st Test of the Australian summer disappointed the fans in India who woke up early on Thursday morning to watch their team taking on Australia in Adelaide. The visitors went through a terrible top-order collapse after batting first but, the real heartbreaker was Virat Kohli’s wicket which came after Khawaja's lightning fast catch, leaving the audience amazed.

Kohli, who was expected to rock Adelaide by becoming the fastest to 1000 runs in Australia, found himself at the receiving end as Usman Khawaja took a stunning blinder to remove the Indian skipper. A fuller delivery from Patt Cummins, which was away from the off stump, lured Kohli for a drive. But Khawaja, who was fielding at the gully, flew to his left and came up with a one-handed stunner.

Undoubtedly, he took the CATCH OF THE SUMMER.

Before the Test series, even the Australian media was in awe of the Indian visitors, considering them as the favourites against the struggling home team. But the entire story took a sharp turn when Kohli & Co. came out to bat at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday morning.

They may have had slammed West Indies at home recently but their struggle on the overseas fiery pitches continued in the first Test against Australia. The down fall began with KL Rahul (2), Murali Vijay (11) and then, the most shocking, Virat Kohli (3) – India lost all the three wickets before 10 overs.
