On day two of the second Test in Christchurch between New Zealand and Sri Lanka on Thursday, speedster Trent Boult took six wickets for four runs in 15 deliveries to record his career-best figures. It was due to Bolt’s heroics, New Zealand dismissed Sri Lanka for 104 on day two and attained 74-runs lead.

Sri Lanka collapsed sensationally after Boult brutally destroyed the middle and lower batting order and bundle up visitors within 40 minutes on day two. Boult now has 230 Test wickets, and now is placed at the fifth spot on the Black Caps' all-time wicket-takers list.

In spectacular fashion, after taking out Roshen Silva in his third over, Boult then produced a triple-wicket maiden. It was the most embarrassing final five-wicket collapse in Sri Lanka's Test history as the final five wickets fell for just four runs.

The two-match series is currently level at 0-0 after the first Test was spoiled by rain on the final day.
