Kieron Pollard has undoubtedly been a swashbuckling cricketer in the present era. Be it with the bat or with the ball, Pollard has turned into a match-winner for his team on several occasion.
But whenever he tries to mock a batsman on the field, he and his team has to pay a price for that. While his over smartness failed, the opponent batter has taken the advantage.
A few years back he tried to mess with MS Dhoni, and years later, he repeated it again during the inaugural season of Global T20 Canada.
Representing Toronto Nationals on June 28, Pollard took the field against the Vancouver Knights. During the 19th over of the innings when Andre Russell and Babar Hayat were at the crease. Hayat hit the third ball of the over towards long on but pollard, who was posted at the region came closer to the ball but didn’t pick it.
Probably he wanted to get a wicket out of that act, but the batsmen were quick enough to steal another single.

The Vancouver Knights went on to post a mammoth total of 227 runs on the board. However, the Nationals chased down the target with 4 balls to spare as Smith (61) and Anton Devcich (92*) helped their to open the tournament with a terrific win.
