Young all-rounder Jofra Archer caught everyone’s attention with his impeccable fielding efforts during a Big Bash League game on Tuesday in Hobart. Representing the Hobart Hurricanes, Archer stunned Brisbane Heat opener Max Bryant with his stunning catch near the boundary in just the 3rd over of the game.
Australian veteran James Faulker was on the attack when Bryant clouted a fuller delivery over the long-on for a six. But Jofra Archer outstretched his right hand and threw the ball back in as he was flying across the boundary line. He came back quickly and completed one of the stunning catches of the tournament.

This was just the beginning from the 23-year-old as he went on to scalp two wickets, removing Chris Lynn (10) and Matt Renshaw (0).
With the half-centuries of Alex Ross and Jimmy Peirson, Brisbane Heat managed to score 145 for six in their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, the Hurricanes chased down the target in 14.2 overs with nine wickets in hand. D'Arcy Short top-scored for Hurricanes with 68 runs (not out), while Caleb Jewell contributed with 61 runs off 38 balls.
Despite showing some extraordinary efforts near the boundary line, Archer didn’t find this act as the best catch of the season. He stated that the one he grabbed in the last season to dismiss Brisbane Heat’s Ben Cutting would stand up than this.
