A clinical bowling performance from James Anderson shunned the Indian top batting order right in the beginning of the Lord’s Test on Friday. After a day’s loss, the play began with England winning the toss and inviting the visitors to bat first.

In the absence of Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul was promoted up the order to open alongside Murali Vijay. Anderson opened the English bowling attack and after first three balls, he drew the first blood. The veteran speedster broke right through Vijay’s defence to bowl him out.

The hosts erupted in joy but the visitors lost their first man even before adding a single run on the board.

After removing Vijay, Anderson again put India in deep trouble by taking the second wicket of KL Rahul, who edged an out-swinging delivery to wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow.

While Anderson was busy ripping the Indian batting line-up apart, people on social media were left amazed by his ferocious performance.
