Team India is currently playing the last Test of the series against England at the KIA Oval in London. It’s a fact that we have lost the series 1-3 to the Englishmen, but enjoying the game is also an important aspect. Following the same logic, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan created a buzz on the stadium amid England’s sudden batting collapse.

Dhawan, who was fielding at the boundary, turned so delighted with the fightback that he entertained the entire Oval crowd with his Bhangra moves. The Bharat Army (a group of Indian cricket fanatics in England) were right behind Dhawan in the stands who gave him the desired boost. And thus, the entire venue turned ‘Punjabi’ for a while.

That wasn’t just the end. Harbhajan Singh, who was present at the English commentary box, couldn’t hold himself from showing a few moves. The moment was so energetic that renowned English commentator David Lloyd tried out this Indian dance style with Bhajji being his teacher.

It could be said that the Indians ended the first day of the last Test with an entertaining mood. Firstly, the pace bowlers wrecked the English batting which was about to strengthen their roots at the crease and then came some ‘legendary groves’.

England scored 198 runs at a loss of 7 wickets on the first day. Jos Buttler and Adil Rashid will resume the game on day 2.
