Even after getting axed from the England vs India first test by the Indian think-tank, Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara doesn’t seem to stop helping his team-mates tackle England bowlers’ brutal attack.

Despite getting excluded from the first test, the right-handed-batsman won hearts of many cricket fans around the world by with a great gesture of sportsmanship.

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar took to Twitter to appreciate Pujara’s sportsmanship gesture. In a short video, Pujara can be seen giving throw-downs to Murali Vijay soon after Indian skittled England out for 287 runs.

Manjrekar took to Twitter to laud Pujara as he wrote, "This is what team sport teaches you. Pujara not playing but making sure that M Vijay gets the best possible preparation before he goes into bat. #INDvENG #SonyLiv."

Pujara’s exclusion from the test team had become a topic of debate and discussion instantly after the toss at Edgbaston.

Ever since his Test debut in 2010, Pujara has not retained his spot constantly as he has been in and out of the team on a regular basis. The right-handed-batsman has not been in the best of his form; during his brief county stint with Yorkshire, his performance with the bat was not so good as he only averaged 14.33 in 12 innings.
