Australia's domestic first-class cricket competition season has witnessed some very strange incidents; one such incident took place on Tuesday during the match between Queensland and Victoria at the Junction Oval.
A bizarre incident took place when Queensland’s leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson bowled a delivery outside the pitch area. But, what really left the fans and the commentators bemused was the umpire’s decision as he deemed the delivery to be legal.
"That landed off the wicket. That's a no-ball. That did not land on the pitch. That landed outside the return crease, so that's a no-ball. That's not even a hard decision. You can't bowl it there. How has he (umpire) let that go. It completely confused me. It was almost as if it's a practice ball," the two commentators said on-air.

Australian fans on twitter expressed how unimpressed they were with the on-field umpiring.
