Legends like Javed Miandad and Inzamam ul Haq have made the Pakistan Cricket Team witness a number of weird run outs in their rich cricketing history. But the one Azhar Ali came across on the third day of the second Test against Australia will probably find the top-spot in their record books.

The incident happened during the 53rd over of the second innings when Azhar Ali edged the ball towards to third man area off Peter Siddle’s delivery. Both the batsmen assumed that the ball has gone to the boundary, without actually watching it, and have stopped in the middle of the pitch to have a chat.

However, the ball actually stopped a few yards before the boundary rope which was after being edged past gully. Starc picked it up and threw it to Paine who dislodged the bails quite gleefully. Azhar Ali was absolutely stunned while Mickey Arthur couldn't stop shaking his head.

Here’s the video:

A shocked and disappointed Ali returned to the pavilion after ending up scoring 64. He was graduating towards his century but a naive behaviour cost him his wicket and a major blow to his team.

Soon the video went viral on the social media and followers of the game left no stone unturned to roast the Pakistanis:
