Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer are two of the most active ex-cricketers on Twitter. Both of them are known for taking cheeky takes on various issues in cricket and otherwise. Jaffer cheekily gave Hrithik Roshan's example to take a dig at Michael Vaughan who, in an interview had said that Kane Williamson is the best batsman and Virat Kohli only gets called the best because of the virtue of him being Indian and a social media celeb.

"Extra ungli Hrithik ke paas hai par karta Michael Vaughan hai," Jaffer tweeted. To which, Vaughan replied in a tweet that read: "I presume you are agreeing with me Wasim." It was a treat for fans as both the ex-cricketers indulged in banter.

What had Michael Vaughan exactly said?

Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith, and Joe Root are the "fab four" of batting in International cricket. Many cricket experts believe that these four are the most complete batsmen around right now in world cricket.

Many fans indulge in the debate surrounding who is the better batsman in this 'fab four'. Michael Vaughan feels that Kane Williamson is a better batsman than Virat Kohli. He said that Virat gets the benefit of being an Indian batsman and being a social media celebrity.

"If Kane Williamson was Indian, he'd be the Greatest Player in the World, but he's not because you're not allowed to say that Virat Kohli is not the Greatest, because you'd get an absolute pelting on social media. Virat is famous because he is Indian & on Instagram. So, you all say Virat is the best purely to get a few more clicks and likes, few more numbers following here. Kane Williamson, across formats, is equally the best. I think the way he plays, the calm demeanor, his humbleness, the fact that he is silent about what he does,” Vaughan said to Spark Sport.

This comment by Vaughan led Wasim Jaffer to point out that the former is unnecessarily poking (Ungli Karna) a controversy.
