VVS Laxman, the former India cricketer and current head of the National Cricket Academy (NCA), caught with his former national teammate and current head coach of the Indian cricket team Rahul Dravid on the anniversary of their iconic 376-run partnership that helped India come back from behind to beat Australia. The two batters batted the entire day after Australia had enforced a follow-on and reduced the hosts to 232/4 in their second innings at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
"Great to catch up with my partner in crime, 23 years to the day since we batted out the entire day against Australia in Kolkata. Rahul and I went down memory lane, reliving and reminiscing that riveting series! What fun," Laxman posted on X (formerly Twitter) while sharing a picture of his encounter.
