During the IPL 2024 Auction proceedings, one of the fans asked about Rohit Sharma’s role in the franchise. Mumbai Indians owner Akash Ambani responded to that question with a witty remark that echoed across social media platforms. Talking about the auction, fans witnessed many historic moments including Australia’s Mitchell Starc sealing a marquee deal with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for a staggering Rs 24.75 crores. Pat Cummins also got Rs 20 crore from Sunrisers Hyderabad to take part in the upcoming edition of the IPL.
