After the conclusion of the India vs Bangladesh series in Kanpur, Kohli received a special gift from the Bangladesh player. What won netizens' hearts was the Indian ace batter conveying his gratitude in the language of the neighbouring nation — Bangla.
In the viral video, Mehidy Hasan is seen gifting a bat to Kohli. "We had been yearning to gift Virat bhai a bat manufactured by our MKS brand. We have finally gifted him this. He has played with this and liked it very much."

Virat then attempts a reply in Bengali, saying: "MKS bat khoob bhalo achhi [The MKS bat is very good]," and the players break into a laugh. "Bohot acha bat hai. [It is a very good bat]. Very good bats. Wish you all the best and keep doing the good work. Bohot ache bats bana rahe ho aap log [You guys are making very good bats]. Aise hi banaate raho, sab cricketer log ko ache quality ka samaan do [Keep making such quality products and provide good gear to all the cricketers],” Kohli can be heard saying in the viral video.

Rohit Sharma Praises Mehidy Hasan's Bat Company, Wishes Him Success
Mehidy Hasan also presented a bat to Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who expressed pride in the Bangladesh player for starting his own bat company with friends, wishing him all the best.
"I know Mehidy from a long time. He is a very good cricketer. And I am very proud of him that he has started his own bat company along with some of his friends. I want to wish him all the best, May god give him all the success. And I hope this company will rise above everyone else," said Rohit.
