Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, and Sunil Gavaskar are the Indian batters who have previously reached this milestone. If Virat Kohli hits 9 more fours in IND vs BAN 1st Test or later in the second Test in Kanpur, he will become the sixth Indian batsman to join the elite club of 1,000 Test fours.
