While the debate regarding who among Virat Kohli and Babar Azam is better is a never-ending one, two former international rivals on the field and good friends off it Harbhajan Singh and Shoib Akhtar discussed the same issue in a latest video for the former India spinner's Youtube Channel. In the video, the two can be seen enjoying an outing in Qatar during which Harbhajan asks the former Pakistan speedster regarding his views on Babar Azam vs Virat Kohli.

The Rawalpindi Express gave an answer which has gone viral on the internet. Akhtar rated Kohli the 'greatest batter' while naming his compatriot Babar the 'upcoming greatest batter ever' in the cricketing sphere.

"Virat Kohli is the greatest, and Babar Azam is in the making to be the greatest batsman ever. He is trying to get better in T20s. People are behind him for no reason," Akhtar responds to Bhajji's question which he asks towards the fag end of the video after they are done discussing several aspects of their life.

Later, Harbhajan also shares his opinion on the same. He also reckoned that Babar has a lot to do before he can establish himself in the same league as Virat.

"Virat Kohli has established himself as a great, while Babar still has a lot to do. He will reach there someday, as he is a wonderful player. He is very good in Test cricket, but maybe T20 doesn't suit him a lot," Harbhajan said.

As far as the numbers are concerned, while Kohli has played 109 Tests, 274 ODIs and 115 T20Is for Team India and accumulated 8479, 12898 and 4008 runs in them respectively, Babar still has a lot of catching up to do having represented Pakistan in 47 Tests, 100 ODIs and 104 T20Is. Babar has scored 3696 runs in the game's longest format while making 5089 and 3485 runs in the 50-overs format and the shortest format in international cricket respectively. While Virat has 75 international centuries to his name, Babar has 30 tons in the game's elite level.
