Naveen-ul-Haq has opened up on his equation with the star India batter Virat Kohli, who plays for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Interestingly, Kohli was recently blamed for his aggressive on-field behaviour by another veteran Indian cricketer Amit Mishra. Mishra made some explosive revelations during a recent podcast, shedding light on some of the most controversial incidents in Indian cricket. However, Naveen has now addressed the whole scenario and suggested that he and Kohli both have moved on from the incident.

In a video posted by the Major League Cricket franchise Texas Super Kings, who Naveen plays for, he explained that the incident was due to the heat of the moment and stressed that there were no personal grudges involved.

He further mentioned that he and Kohli had resolved their differences during the 2023 ODI World Cup.

"I made it clear that It was in the heat of the moment. He was representing his franchise, I was playing for my franchise, If it is for my franchise or for my country, I will give it all. I won't back down." Naveen said.

"At the end of the day we are all players and some of us are close friends, some of us are colleagues. We just brush it out and there's nothing personal. In the ODI World Cup, it finished once and for all." he added.
