“Any side that can go to Australia, go 1-0 down after being bowled out for 36, lose Kohli because he's going home on paternity leave, lose your bowling attack and still come back and win after some of the stuff that went on off the field in Australia, they won't be bullied,” Nasser Hussain told Sky Sports.
The former England captain was talking with Sky Sports when he asked the English team to be cautious of India. He was all praises about India’s performance down-under. India had lost their captain Virat Kohli after the first Test match. Even after that, the resilience shown by the stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane and the rest of the team was something to remember for ages.
The British press is aware about India’s prospects in the Test series. Many ex-cricketers including Greame Swann said that the series against India is going to be the toughest for the English team. Nasser Hussain too seems to be reiterating with the ideas of Swann who also said that series against India was ‘bigger than The Ashes’.

Hussain criticized England’s decision of not including Bairstow in the first two Tests. He said that he would want the best possible 13-15 men to be picked for the India series.
“They (India) are a tough side. I think Kohli has instilled that. Make no mistake, at home, they are a formidable outfit.” He also said that England will head into the India series with plenty of confidence after the 2-0 series whitewash of Sri Lanka.
Nasser Hussain’s assessment must come as a confidence-booster for team India. The England team has arrived in India after a happy series in Sri Lanka. The first game of the series is to be played on 5th February.
