Vinod Kambli, the former Indian cricket star, is currently hospitalized after experiencing a health scare. He was taken to a hospital in Thane, Mumbai on Saturday (December 21) night where the medical professionals are said to be closely monitoring his condition and conducting various tests. The 52-year-old, who has faced several health challenges in recent years, recently garnered attention following an emotional reunion with his childhood friend and cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar, at an event commemorating Ramakant Achrekar, their childhood coach. Kambli’s appearance in a wheelchair at the event raised concerns among his fans about his well-being.


Although Vinod Kambli is said to be stable at present, he remains in critical condition as per IANS and is under the care of specialist doctors. His health has been a recurring concern for former Indian cricketers and fans alike. This time, however, members of the 1983 World Cup-winning team have come forward to offer financial support, which Kambli has gratefully accepted.

Vinod Kambli Shares Details Of Recent Health Struggles


Recently, Kambli shared details about his ongoing health challenges, revealing that he has been dealing with a urinary issue and was also hospitalized for treatment.


“I was suffering from a urine problem. It was just flowing. My son, Jesus Cristiano, picked me up and brought me back to my feet. My daughter, who is 10 years old, and my wife came to help me. This happened one month ago. My head started spinning; I collapsed and fell down. The doctor told me to get admitted," said Kambli on Vicky Lalwani's YouTube channel.
