Mumbai will face Hyderabad in the first semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Former Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who represented Mumbai in the last match will again play for his side in the upcoming semi-finals against Hyderabad. It will be difficult for Hyderabad to attain victory as Mumbai is expected to have a upper hand in the semis, with the likes of Sharma and Prithvi Shaw at their side. Especially, after both star players performance during the Test series against the West Indies, Mumbai is likely to remain unbeaten.

With the arrival of Rohit Sharma and Prithvi Shaw in the side, Mumbai has definitely become stronger.

Undoubtedly, batting has mostly been strength of Mumbai. Apart from Rahane and Rohit, Mumbai have Aiyar and Shaw as great young batsmen. Earlier, Shaw, who scored well for Mumbai in the initial round of the tournament, recently displayed his talent again with the bat against the Windies.

While two senior players of the team Suryakumar Yadav and Aditya Tare have the capacity to score well, Dhawal Kulkarni is the one who has the responsibility to lead the bowling department for Mumbai.

However, taking Hyderabad lightly can prove to be a huge mistake for Mumbai. Of course, Hyderabad does not have as many big names in the batting order as Mumbai, but its batsmen have always done fairly well in domestic tournaments.
