Veteran Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir is currently leading Delhi in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. He may have been out from the Indian side for quite a long time now but his batting skills are intact enough to entertain the cricket fans.

While batting against Saurashtra at his home ground, Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, on Thursday, Gambhir slammed a magnificent half-century. While he was batting, a fan breached the security cover at the field and rushed towards Gambhir to touch his feet.

Though the man was then taken off the ground by the security personnel, the entire incident was filmed by one of the spectators present on the ground and the video is going viral on social media.

Here's the video:

Gambhir’s good form continued as he started his newest captaincy stint with a stroke-filled 62 off 48 balls as Delhi chased a target of 238 in 46 overs. Delhi beat Saurashtra by five wickets in the opening group B encounter.

Gambhir’s sublime form continued on Friday as well. He scored 41 against Hyderabad in the same ground and Delhi won this time by 6 wickets.
