New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his sixes are one of the best things to have ever happened in cricket. The powerful batsman, again, put up his hard-hitting qualities on display in the opening encounter of the India-New Zealand T20 series.

Dhoni, walked out to bat after Indian opener Rohit Sharma’s dismissal by Kiwi quick Trent Boult in the last over of the Indian innings. The 36-year-old looked in hurry as he smashed the left arm bowler for monstrous six on the very first ball after taking the strike in 20th over. His maximum helped India post a mammoth 202 runs on the board.

Though, Dhoni could not middle the bat but the power he put in was enough to take the ball in the Kotla crowd.

Later, India went on to register its first ever T20 victory against World No.1 ranked New Zealand. The Virat Kohli’s men defeated the visitors by 53 runs.
