The inaugural season of the US Masters T10 League is expected to begin on August 18th, with the finals being held on August 27th. The T10 Global Sports conducted the US Masters T10 League Player Draft in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday (8 July). 


The Player draft saw all six teams - Atlanta Fire, California Knights, Morrisville Unity, New Jersey Legends, New York Warriors, and Texas Chargers - build explosive lineups for the tournament, which will take place later this year. 


In the auction, the New Jersey Legends formed a star-studded lineup, landing three World Cup 2011-winning Indian players. This season, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, and Yusuf Pathan will all play for them


Not just the world cup winning players but several other top cricketers like Liam Plunkett, Albie Morkel, Naman Ojha, Jesse Ryder, Chris Barnwell, Stuart Binny, RP Singh, Bipul Sharma, Craig Mcmillan, Tim Ambrose, Rajesh Bishnoi, Abhimanyu Mithun, and Monty Panesar were picked up.


Prominent Indian Players to watch out for: Atlanta Fire, California Knights and Morrisville Unity also bagged some of the top Indian cricketers. Atlanta Fire captured Robin Uthappa while the California Knights roped in Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan and Mohammad Kaif. Morrisville Unity also has Harbhajan representing their team.


Furthermore, with the T10 league player draft has been completed and all the six teams have accumulated well-balanced squads for the event, and it will be intriguing to see which side emerges victorious at the end. Shaji-Ul-Mulk, Chairman of T Ten Sports Management, shared the same sentiment. 


Shaji-Ul-Mulk was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times: "It's fantastic to see that all six teams have constructed well-balanced sides for the first season of the US Masters T10 League. With several former international stars in all line-ups, the competition will certainly be a treat to watch for all cricket fans around the world."


With the tournament starting from 18 August it would be very intriguing to see the Indian legends back on the field, competing and reliving the good old days with some of the eminent ovearseas players like David Hussey, Chris Gayle, Albie Morkel and Craig McMillian.
