The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday clarified the medical and fitness updates on five players, including Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and Rishabh Pant, who are currently rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Since fans are waiting to see their stars return to the field, the BCCI Medical Team was satisfied with their recovery.


Pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna are in the final stages of the rehabilitation process. As per the board, they have been bowling with full intensity in the nets. They will also be playing in the practice games organized by the NCA. The BCCI Medical Team is closely seeing their progress and will come up with a final decision on the basis of their performance in the practice matches.






"Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna are in the final stages of their rehab and are bowling with full intensity in the nets and will play some practice games. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have resumed batting in the nets and are currently undergoing strength and fitness drills; Rishabh Pant has made significant progress in his rehabilitation and has commenced batting as well as keeping in the nets", BCCI said in a statement.


Talking about KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, they have also started batting in the nets and currently focusing on their strength and fitness drills. India's star player Rishabh Pant who met with a deadly car crash has also made progress and has started batting and keeping in the nets. He is currently focusing on a fitness program designed for him, including strength, flexibility, and running.
