South African wrist-spinner Tabraiz Shamsi surprised his fans on social media after sharing one of the biggest news of his life on June 24.
Shamsi, who has recently been named in the Proteas squad for tour of Sri Lanka, tied the knot and shared a video on his social media handle where he introduced her better-half. He captioned the video as, “Surprise!!!!!! 🤵👰 #Mr&MrsShamsi”.

The 28-year-old didn’t make any prior announcement about getting hitched. His sudden revelation garnered best wishes and hundreds of likes on his social media post.

Tabraiz Shamsi has made a comeback in the South African Test side almost after 2 years. Back in 2016, he last represented his country in whites against Australia.
Shamsi will also feature in the 5-match ODI series which will commence right after the conclusion of the 2-match Test rubber. He, along with Keshav Maharaj, have been inducted into the limited-overs squad so that Cricket South Africa could assess the possibility of their selection in the squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, to be held in England and Wales.
the South Africa tour of Sri Lanka is scheduled to start on July 7 with a practice match followed by 2-match Test series and 5-match ODi series. The tour will conclude with a one-off T20I on August 14.
