A lot of people put in a lot of hard work and it was tough for us. It was a big deal for us. It's a win. It's something we've been planning for a long time. It's been a long two years after the qualifying tournament."
The Scotland captain continued, "We are now reaping the fruits of believing in this. Many players have made a lot of sacrifices. Associate cricket is very tough and when we get out of here, we are ready to take on any opportunity we get. We have made some good progress and I am really proud."
