The Saurashtra-based speedster Chetan Sakariya joined the Indian team as a net bowler in Australia ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup. Chetan took to his Instagram handle and posted a video of his journey from India to Australia.

Sakariya has donned the Indian jersey in one ODI and two T20I matches. "After almost travelled for 24 hours ……reached to my dream destination and that too for a great experience with the modern greats of the game ….looking forward to utilise this opportunity to improve my game ……OUR ENERGY IS WITH THE TEAM ……," he captioned.

The Men in blue led by Rohit Sharma left for Australia on Thursday morning for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup. After failing to make the semi-finals last year, the 2007 winners will look to win the title this year.  Just before the World Cup, the Indian team outplayed Australia and South Africa in the respective bilateral series and gained a lot of confidence.

On Friday, they had their first training session at the Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA) Stadium. The BCCI on Twitter shared an update about the team’s first training session.  The 24-year-old will help the Indian team in their preparations for the T20 World Cup

The left-arm pacer Mukesh Choudhary has also traveled to Australia to help the Indian team in the nets. He had a great IPL last year where he scalped 16 wickets in 13 matches for Chennai Super Kings.
