Team India underwent an intense training session ahead of their first T20 World Cup 2024 game in New York as they are set to play against Ireland in their campaign opener. Star batter Virat Kohli stole the limelight as he had a nets session for the first time ahead of the World Cup 2024, given that he arrived in the United States of America (USA) later than the rest of the Indian team.

In a video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), India players can be seen participating in a vigorous net session. It also marked Virat Kohli’s first net session after arriving in the United States. Virat Kohli faced the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya and others during his stay in the middle. Along with Kohli, skipper Rohit Sharma, Sanju Samson and world’s number one-ranked T20 batter Suryakumar Yadav also had a few hits.

In the bowling department, Jasprit Bumrah can be seen steaming in with his fiery run-up and the likes of Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel can also be seen bowling.
