T20 World Cup 2024: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have, on Monday, May 13, launched the new jersey of the Indian Cricket Team (ICT) for the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2024. The launch took place at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, and BCCI secretary Jay Shah was present alongside Indian team skipper Rohit Sharma at the launch event, and kit is now available for sale as well.

Ever since taking over as the official kit manufacturer of the ICT, sporting giants Adidas have produced some wonderful jerseys and the latest Indian team jersey for the mega event in West Indies and United States of America is giving the vibes of old days, as the colour scheme goes in sync with the jerseys of the 2009 T20 World Cup England, and that of 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup England as well.

India's quest for an ICC trophy is in its 11th year now, as several failures to get the hands over a trophy still lives on. India's recent performances at the ICC events have been good but the Rohit Sharma-led side have come up short when it mattered the most, as the last two ICC events saw the 'Men in Blue' reach the final, but ended up facing humiliating defeats at the hands of Pat Cummins' iconic Treble winning Australian side.
