England all-rounder Ben Stokes is a major doubt for the limited-overs series against Scotland and Australia after he was diagnosed with a torn hamstring.

Stokes picked up the injury during a training session on Wednesday afternoon and was ruled out of the crucial second Test match against Pakistan.

19-year-old sensation Sam Curran was included in England's playing XI as a replacement for the star all-rounder.

England will start their season with a ODI against Scotland on June 10 followed by a 5-match ODI series against Australia which is slated to begin on June 13.

England will later take on the visiting Indian side in a full-fledged series which included 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is and 5 Test matches.
