Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, who is all set to become the next BCCI president, while talking to reporters on Monday, conceded that the major talking point among BCCI circles over 'conflict of interest', are in fact an 'issue and 'really need to be looked at'.

The former Indian skipper has been serving as the President of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) for the past five years. BCCI President candidate Ganguly talked about an array of topics on Monday.

When asked whether his prospective new role will be anything similar to captaining India in the past, Ganguly said: "Captaining India was a lot more challenging. BCCI president will be a different challenge."

"The house (BCCI) needs to be set in order. No politician has been in touch with me. I thank Mamata didi (West Bengal Chief Minister) and I am very happy to get ger support. I have not received any money - talks, and discussions," Ganguly told reporters.
