Former Australian speedster Glenn McGrath posted a video where he was spotted capturing 3 pythons at home. Seeing this, his fans gave him the title of 'snake catcher’. In a video, McGrath was seen countering the snake with the help of a broom near his bedroom.

"After plenty of encouragement & support from @saraleonmcgrath all 3 Coastal Carpet Pythons that were in the house were safely released back into the bush #carpetpython #snakecatcher #notthebestfootwear," captioned the former Australia pacer wrote.

McGrath had a long career of 14 years and he is still regarded as one of the best fast bowlers Australia has ever produced. In the red ball format, he scalped 563 wickets for Australia and also picked up 381 wickets in the 50-over format. He also took part in 14 matches of the Indian Premier League where he took 12 wickets with an economy rate of 6.61.

Since the World Cup is just a month away from us,  Cricket Australia has announced its squad for the same. Veteran players like Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, and David Warner have been added to the squad. The only surprise exclusion was of batter Marnus Labuschagne.

"Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell are on track in their return to play programs. All are well placed to come back online in the coming weeks and potentially for selection in the upcoming series against India," Bailey said.

"There are eight one-day matches still to play in South Africa and India before the final squad is due to be declared. They are followed by two Cricket World Cup practice games, which offers plenty of opportunity to continue the build for the tournament."
