New Delhi: You know there is someone very accomplished at the other end when MS Dhoni is content to take a single in the last over of the game. Steve Smith showed just why. He thumped 2 sixes to knock off a 185 run target and give his side a winning start in IPL.

When it appeared that the match was slipping away from Pune, Smith showed admirable maturity and brought out a rarely seen attacking side of his. It boiled down to 10 off 3 balls when Smith hit two back to back sixes to seal the match.

Smith scored 84 runs off 57 balls laced with 3 sixes 7 fours to help Pune beat Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets.
