Colombo: Sri Lanka vs India 2nd T20I was a low-scoring thriller. Sri Lanka prevailed as their batters somehow were able to chase 133 runs. India scored 132 runs in the first innings. Despite getting a good start with the bat, India could not convert that start into a big score.

The five bowlers picked by the Indian captain became crucial at the end when it mattered. The pitch was behaving slowly and it was not easy to play shots. The Indian batsmen struggled, and so did the Sri Lankan batsmen but Dhanajaya De Silva played a good knock to take Si Lanka over.

The number of slower deliveries the bowlers have bowled in this match is unparalleled. Eight bowlers were used by Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka. Shikhar Dhawan's 40 was the highest score in the Indian Innings. The pitch at R Premadasa Stadium has played in favour of bowlers so far. The Indian batsmen failed to convert a good start into a decent score.

Well, the story of Sri Lanka's innings was not very different. They kept on losing wickets and scoring became difficult. Sakariya went for a few runs but other bowlers were all economical. It was a tight contest but in the end, Sri Lanka prevailed.
