Punjab: Kolkata Knight Riders and India batsman Shubman Gill said that he will prefer paying in the World Test Championship Final rather than the T20 World Cup Final. He was speaking in an interview with ESPNcricinfo. Gill said, "playing in World Test Championship's final is a bigger dream than playing the T20 World Cup final because WTC is happening for the first time."
Shubman Gill plays for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL and he shot to fame after the U-19 Cricket World Cup of 2018. Batting at no. 3 Gill scored 418 runs at an average of 104.5. Later, he made his Test debut against Australia in December 2020. He had a good series down under. Although he hasn't scored any century yet, he has managed to impress the selectors with his few good performances.

Shubman Gill has been selected in India's squad that is bound to play the World Test Championship against New Zealand on June 18, 2021.
