Hardik Pandya made his international debut for India under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Ever since both of them share a great camaraderie. Pandya often shares pictures with the former India captain. Just ahead of the first T20I against New Zealand, the Indian team landed in Ranchi on Wednesday and the newly-made skipper posted a picture with Dhoni.  "Sholay 2 coming soon", captioned Pandya.

Pandya posted two pictures where he can be spotted posing with Dhoni. He was sitting in the driver's seat of a bike while the former legendary skipper was in the sidecar. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhoni will return to action in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Few days back, a video had gone viral on social media in which the veteran was spotted training in the nets.

Talking about Pandya's captaincy, he has captained the side in the series against Ireland, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. Under his leadership, Gujarat Titans won the IPL 2022

Earlier, Rohit Sharma led India to a 3-0 ODI series win over New Zealand where he scored his first century in over three years. The Indian team will now be locking horns in a three-match T20I series between India and New Zealand starting from January 27.
