India's senior women's cricket team return to action for the first time since Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 as they will square off against Bangladesh in three ODIs and as many as T20Is, later this month. The Indian squad announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) frankly came up with a lot of surprises as many big names like Shikha Pandey, Richa Ghosh and Renuka Singh Thakur are missing from the side. The upcoming India vs Bangladesh white-ball series will feature Harmanpreet Kaur as captain of 'Women in Blue'.
