Pakistan Vs Bangladesh 2nd Test: Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been dropped from the second and final Test of the ongoing Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Bangladesh scripted history by winning their first-ever Test match against Pakistan by registering a thumping 10-wicket win in Rawalpindi, and the hosts will now be looking to avenge the humiliating loss.
Pakistan head coach for red-ball cricket, Jason Gillespie, stated 'family and personal reasons' behind the decision of Shaheen Shah Afridi's omission.
"We had a good conversation with him and he fully understands we are looking at the best combination for this game and the last few weeks have been interesting for him with fatherhood and other things, this break will allow him to spend time with his family," said Pakistan head coach.
The coach also added that the fast bowler is now working with Azhar Mahmood to work on his efficiency.

Jason Gillespie States That Pakistan Needs To Be Better
The Pakistan head coach applauded Bangladesh for their efforts, and added the following during the press conference on Thursday:
"Everything aside including allowances for weather and breaks, we need to be better to get through overs better. We can control our energy levels to make sure we are going through our overs quickly. Look, Bangladesh played better cricket and won. There is nothing we can do about it now but we have to learn from our mistakes and hopefully apply those learnings in the second test."
"We have to be consistent and ruthless with our basics. We are encouraging them to play with freedom and intent and show authentic skills. They just need to execute skill levels properly."
